Modern Stoa

Constructed of 500 stainless steel wires and two steel tube columns with tree-like cantilevered steel tube beams to support the wires. Solar lighting can be installed at the top of these two columns if needed at night and water resistant fabric can be installed at the beams in case of rain.  The project was a submission to The Folly, an annual competition among emerging architects to design and build a large-scale project for public exhibition at Socrates Park in Astoria Queens, NY.
